Summer 2024 - Ponte Vedra - Davis Park Complex

Registration is open for Summer 24 Youth Flag Football here in Northeast Florida! Great for first-timers, kids who participate in other sports, and experienced athletes, flag football provides the same excitement and development as real football, without the contact!

We offer the ability for friends and family to participate on the same team each season. The best way to ensure your athletes are on the same team is to register early (saving $$$), and filling in the “Buddy Requests/Coach Requests” during your registration process.

Another great way to ensure your athletes are grouped with friends, is to have a parent coach! We provide great materials for first-time coaches (https://gridironfb.com/pages/gridiron-coachs-library), we are happy to work with you to become the best coach and mentor possible! Program Details

6 week schedule (Friday Nights Only) Beginning June 14, 2024
6-7 Regular season games
Championship Night is Friday, July 26, 2024.
Everyone plays every game
No tryouts or drafts - rosters are formed by friend or coach requests; single players placed on teams with similar schools or neighborhoods. Not all requests may be honored but we will try our best.
If you do not have a coach and/or friend request, we suggest playing in the recreational division for a better experience. If we have less than 4 recreational teams, we may have inter-division matchups so teams are not playing the same teams every week.
Teams are grade based
Practices are (45) minutes (determined by coach) with (45) minute games that consists of two (20) minute halves
7th-8th grade 7v7 games will be 25 min long. No halftime.
Game format (K2, 34, and 56 will be 6v6; 78 will be 7v7) may vary based on number of athletes in each age group
7TH-8TH GRADE PLAYERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A SOFT SHELL HELMET IN THIS DIVISION

Equipment

An official Gridiron Football Flag Football Uniform (Jersey + Shorts) is included and is yours to keep

An official Gridiron Football flag belt is provided for use

Rubber cleats or sneakers (No metal spikes)

Mouth-guards are required at all times during practice and games

7TH-8TH GRADE PLAYERS MUST HAVE SOFT-SHELL HELMETS. PLAYERS MUST BUY THEIR OWN.

1st place teams will receive Custom Gridiron Championship Rings
